HTC 10 Said To Feature Super LCD 5 Display
There have been a lot of rumors and reports about the HTC 10. HTC didn’t unveil its 2016 flagship handset at MWC 2016 instead it’s expected to conduct an event later this month to unveil the HTC 10. We’ve already seen leaked renders of this handset and heard what the specifications are going to be. Word on the street is that the HTC 10 doesn’t have an AMOLED display, it has a Super LCD 5 display instead.
HTC already uses the Super LCD technology, it’s different from AMOLED as it doesn’t have an air gap between the display element and the outer glass. This results in less glare and makes the user feel “closer” to the display.
Other benefits of the Super LCD 5 display include better outdoor visibility in sunlight as well as low power consumption. The word comes from @evleaks who has created a solid reputation for himself when it comes to leaking such stuff so there’s reason to believe that the HTC 10 might actually have Super LCD 5 display.
The handset is also said to feature a 3,000mAh battery. HTC has already promised “world class” cameras for this handset. It hasn’t confirmed as yet when the announcement will be made but given that it has recently been teasing the HTC 10 online it may not take long before the company’s next flagship is made official.
