iPhone SE’s Design “Nearly Identical” To iPhone 5s

As many of you guys have heard, Apple could be considering returning to the 4-inch form factor with the iPhone SE. It is unclear as to how the phone will look like, but many seem to be believe that it will be a mixture between the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 6, andrecently leaked cases seemed to suggest curved sides more akin to the iPhone 6.
However according to the folks at 9to5Mac, they have checked with their sources and if the information is any accurate, it seems that the iPhone SE could end up looking very much like the iPhone 5s, except with upgraded internal components. This means that the alleged curved edges are no more and we will be looking at a very familiar box-ish design from the iPhone 5s back in 2013, which we guess isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Sure, it is an old design but then again, the iPhone 5/5s’ design wasn’t too shabby so we can’t really complain. However despite the similarity in design, Apple is said to be making some design changes by making the edges more matte and give it less of a shiny finish to avoid making scratches seem more visible.
In any case since none of this is official yet, the best course of action right now is to take it with a grain of salt, but remember to check back with us on the 21st of March which is when Apple is expected to officially announce the device (and others).
