Tissot Smart-Touch Is First Decent Smartwatch From Swatch

We do know that since early last year, Swatch, the famous watchmaker from Switzerland that has wowed the masses with its venerable designs for the longest time already, has announced their intention to jump into the smartwatch game, long term. Well, we are glad to say that such vision has recently paid off, with Swatch’s first proper smartwatch being a Tissot – a Tissot Smart-Touch, to be exact, as this smart timepiece delivers navigation as well as weather on your wrist.

The Tissot Smart-Touch will be a whole lot more unique in a sense that it is the first broader-purpose smartwatch from them. You can hook it up to your smartphone for navigational purposes when required, and then a solar-powered weather station comes in handy to check out local conditions on the Smart-Touch’s display.

Not only that, other features that ensures the Smart-Touch keeps up with the Joneses include an altimeter and automatic time updates. A single charge should be able to see the battery last for up to a year, and solar power will ensure that it keeps on going. Tissot has slapped a rather high asking price of $1,100 to $1,200 thereabouts in exchange for the Smart-Touch. Would you gun for a smartwatch in the higher end realm, or at that price point, would you prefer to target a regular, luxury timepiece?
