Microsoft formally unveiled the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL late last year. These were the first new flagship Lumia handsets in 18 months and were the first devices from the company to be powered by Windows 10 Mobile. That particular update has finally beenreleased for existing Windows Phone 8.1 handsets. Microsoft is now offering the unlocked Lumia 950 for a significant discount that’s valid only for a limited time.
Lumia 920 has a 5.2 inch WHD display with a Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB RAM. It’s one of the most powerful smartphones powered by Windows 10 Mobile. The handset also features liquid cooling. Lumia 950 has a 20 megapixel PureView rear camera with triple LED flash and a 5 megapixel camera on the front.
The handset is available at a discount for a limited time from the online Microsoft Store. Interested customers can pick it up unlocked and off-contract for $449, that’s a $100 discount as opposed to the full retail price of $549. That’s how much it was priced it when it came out in November last year.
Customers must purchase the handset by March 27th to take advantage of this promotion. They will also receive a free one-year subscription to Microsoft Office on one PC and one tablet or smartphone as well as 1TB of OneDrive storage with the purchase of the Lumia 950.
